A delicacy from Yemen
Sheba Coffee, a family of small family farms, some of them with plots of less than 100 square metres. This ensures that all the cherries are selected with incredible care and attention. Haraz Collective is a coffee that grows in the Haraz region, located on the outskirts of Sana'a. Coffee production in this region is decidedly low, but of high quality. The total harvest of some farms does not exceed 1.5 tonnes of coffee. However, in this particular case, yield is not everything. The harvest season in this region is always among the last in Yemen, as the cherries take much longer to reach optimum ripeness. Haraz is often referred to as ‘The land above the clouds’ because of its extraordinary altitude. Located about 150 km inland from the main Red Sea port of Al-Hudaydah, Haraz lies within the Sarat mountain range, home to the peninsula's highest mountain, Jabal An-Nabi Shu'ayb.
