Would you like to visit our roastery, the Coffeeseum and our huge collection of coffee grinders in Fiè allo Sciliar? Coffeeseum taster course, summer & winter tours

Coffee show roastery with Coffeeseum, every Thursday in summer in Fiè allo Sciliar!

 

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of coffee! The Coffeeseum is open for visits every Thursday throughout the winter season. Discover its unique collection of coffee mills from all over the world and learn about the coffee bean’s journey from the Equator to your coffee cup.

Winter tours: from 4th January to 4th April 2024
Time: 9:30 – approx. 11:00 a.m.
Target: all coffee interested

The Caroma show roastery and coffee shop are open to the public
Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

A quick dip into the world of coffee

A tour of the Caroma roastery and the Coffeeseum

Follow Caroma’s coffee experts on a journey into the fascinating world of coffee. This compact course will provide you with the essential basic knowledge about the subject… and spark your passion for coffee in the process! It is directed at anyone who would like to know more about this favourite pick-me-up beverage or just have fun exploring such an interesting subject. If you wish, we will be happy to help you find the right hotel, restaurant, mountain hut or farmer’s inn in the vicinity.

  • History of coffee – legends, origin and diffusion
  • Arabica and Robusta
  • All about coffee: plant varieties, harvesting methods, processing, coffee preparation methods, ingredients and effects
  • Coffee roasting with a small hand-operated roaster
  • Q&A and discussion
  • Time permitting, a tasting of Arabica and Robusta coffees
  • Visit to our large collection of coffee grinders
  • Visit to our new coffee shop

A tour of the roastery and Coffeeseum including an extensive coffee tasting

Prepare for an exciting tour and trace the entire journey taken by coffee, from the equatorial plant to your favourite cup of espresso. Valentin Hofer’s vast knowledge and a well-rounded coffee tasting session will offer you deep insights and a great sensory experience. You’re in for a real treat!

This course is intended for those who love coffee and would like a more immersive exploration of its faceted world.
